Paul Bragdon honored at hall dedication
A crowd of more than 300 well-wishers and fans of president emeritus Paul Bragdon gathered on January 16 to dedicate Reed's new Bragdon Hall. Chairman of the board of trustees Don Frisbee, trustee emerita Mary Winch, Marc Halperin '75, and Reed president Steven Koblik offered their tributes, and remarks from board members John Gray and Walter Mintz were also read. Bragdon then spoke eloquently of his time at Reed and what the new hall means to him. The crowd then ducked through the raindrops for self-guided tours of the beautiful new residence hall overlooking the canyon. r
