REED’S NEWEST SCULPTURE
On the grassy knoll between the library and the ETC building sits Reed’s newest large-scale
sculpture. “Seljuk,” by regional artist Lee Kelly was a recent gift from long-time
friend of the college and board member Donald Frisbee and was in honor of Frisbee’s late
wife, Emilie. The sculpture was inspired by Kelly’s travels through Turkey and was dedicated
at an outdoor event this past April, with both artist and donor in attendance. |
