The Portland chapter was busy this summer with commencement and reunion activities. The annual ice cream social, the graduating senior reception held at the Woodstock Wine and Deli, and the spring feeding frenzy were all well attended. Participating students were well fed and very appreciative.

The social highlight of the summer was a picnic and barbecue at Magnuson Park, where alumni, family, and friends gathered with grills, games, and guitars. The annual chapter general meeting will be held August 9 at the home of Peter Mason '79. All Rainier chapter members are invited to attend and participate in the election of new officers. The Reed Brew Pub Fan Club of Seattle and the REEDing group continue to meet regularly. Check the Rainier chapter's web site (
