investigates the material processes of imaging. Drawing on historical memory, he figures the image as more
instrument than artifact, negotiating the physicality of information with the cultural ramifications of technologies of
visibility. RAW presents a solo show of work with shadowgraphy, near infrared light, and x-ray imaging, entitled
(Decouvertes de M. Marat sur le feu, l ectricitite, et la lumiere, 1779).
