Inhabiting the gap between dance and performance art, her work reimagines and reconfigures the body's movement potential. During RAW: GEOGRAPHIES, Westwater will present two site-specific dance pieces on Reed campus based on the relationship between the public park and the landfill, specifically examining their cycles of consumption, production, and regeneration. PARK: PDX will be performed in the Student Union at 8:00 PM on Thursday 3/3. A movement installation situated at Ben Wolf's Assembly of Freight, will be performed at 5:30 PM on Friday 3/4. Westwater will also present a workshop for Reed students, labPARK on Friday 3/4.
