If you haven’t received the letter with your PIN and instructions about creating your IRIS account and email, please call the orientation office at 503/777-7530. You won’t be able to get started and complete required forms until you’ve signed in to IRIS.
Odyssey trips fill to capacity most years. The earlier you register, the more likely you are to get a spot.
Don’t forget to check your reed.edu email or set it up to forward to an account that you check frequently. You will receive important orientation information via your Reed email address and will continue to get vital information at that address during the entire time you study at Reed.
Want to bring another Reedie into your life? Reed's host family program pairs new international students with Portland-area families, providing the opportunity for cultural exchange and a mutually rewarding relationship. Students live in the Reed residence halls, but spend time with their host family at different points throughout the year, often during holidays. If you or someone you know might be interested in serving as a host family or would like more information, please contact Dana Bays, assistant dean of international student services, at email@example.com or 503/517-5538. (Learn more about the program at the host family website.)
Forms for the Health & Counseling Center are due on July 15. You will not be able to attend classes if these forms are not turned in. Please make sure you have obtained the necessary signatures from your health care provider and mail the completed forms to the Health & Counseling Center in the confidential envelope provided in your May mailing.
Sexual assault is an important topic for all to understand. Don’t forget to complete the online sexual assault program, Unless There's Consent. If you need another email with access instructions, contact Kristin Holmberg.
Avoid waiting in line during one of the busiest times at the Reed bookstore by preordering your textbooks as well as many other things you’ll need for life on campus. All preorders will be ready for pick-up when you arrive for orientation. To place preorders, visit the bookstore website. Orders placed online by August 1 will receive a free bonus gift.
Please register for Parent Orientation. Don't delay: register today! If you have already signed up, thanks for planning ahead.
Are you planning on attending Humanities 110 for Parents?
