Reed College Eliminates its Application Fee

Reed College has eliminated its application fee. In an effort to remove barriers for any student who wishes to apply for admission to Reed, the college has decided to cut its $50 fee for submitting application materials. The process has not changed in any other way.

“It’s a small but meaningful step,” said Crystal Williams, Dean for Institutional Diversity. “We want Reed to be a more inclusive community and cutting the admission fee levels the playing field at the earliest stage of the game and allows prospective students a chance to explore all their opportunities.”
