"On inviting the dead to dinner, and other problems of Mozartean comedy"


WHAT

ROMP! 2006 continues with this lecture by Edmund J. Goehring, professor of music at the University of Western Ontario. Goehring will talk about comedy in Mozart's style as a whole. Although he will begin with Don Giovanni, Goehring will extend the discussion to show how some of the same procedures are apparent in works that will be heard in the two Chamber Music Northwest concerts during the weekend. Sponsored by the Reed music department.
