Reed College's production of "Gorey Stories" combines comedy and the macabre, February 17-19

TITLE:  Gorey Stories

WHAT: Senior Miranda King directs Gorey Stories , an ensemble piece adapted by Stephen Curren and based on 18 enigmatic works by the late author and illustrator Edward Gorey.  Eccentric and darkly comedic, Gorey Stories is a masterfully morbid and hilarious portrayal of what happens when a dull society suddenly finds itself in the most bizarre situation, and has no choice but to take part in the fantastic.

Starring: Hannah Gildea, Devon Granmo, Ryland Ianelli, Amy Lawrence, James Nye, Cara Siegel, and Evan Ward

WHEN: 7:30 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, February 17-19

WHERE: Reed College Mainstage Theater (Entrance on Botsford Drive just off of SE 28th Avenue)
