Author to speak on relationship between Mormonism and science on Thursday, March 11

TITLE:            Modern Reflections on Mormonism and Science

WHAT:           Author of the book "Farewell to Eden: Coming to terms with Mormonism and Science," Duwayne R. Anderson will lecture on the relationship between the religion and modern science.

WHO:             Duwayne R. Anderson , with a Mormon background stretching back four generations, was raised in the Latter Day Saint Church and trained in its seminary and educational system. He is an engineer and researcher, with a B.A. in physics from Brigham Young University.

WHEN:           Thursday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m.

LOCATION: Vollum lounge, Reed College, 3203 SE Woodstock Blvd., Portland

COST:             The lecture is free and open to the public
