REED THEATRE PRESENTS HOUSE OF YES

The Reed theatre department will present Wendy MacLeod’s House of Yes Thursday through Saturday, February 22 to 24, at 8 p.m. in the Reed theatre mainstage. Admission is $1 for Reed community members, $2 for seniors, and $3 for general admission. For more information and reservations, please call the Reed theatre box office at 503/777-7284.

The House of Yes is a witty, darkly humorous, and ultimately disturbing look at a dysfunctional family. This wealthy Virginian family is consumed by obsession, madness, and the Kennedy assassination. The family begins to fall apart when a son arrives home from college for Thanksgiving with an unexpected surprise: his never-before-seen fiancée. His mother desperately tries to keep the family from destroying itself as incest, insanity, and obsession are revealed.

This production is a directing thesis for Reed senior Alyssa Santos and an acting thesis for Reed senior Robyn Thompson.
