Performing Arts Building

Opened in September, 2013, the Performing Arts building houses the Music, Dance and Theatre departments.

PAB practice room

Practice Room Suite: Within the practice room suite there are 14 sound proofed practice rooms containing 10 grand pianos, 3 studio uprights, 2 harpsichords, and a percussion room. Practice rooms are available to the entire current Reed Community 8 a.m – 11 p.m daily. All students enrolled in a music class have access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

PAB rehearsal hall

Music Rehearsal Hall: The Music Rehearsal Hall seats 120 for lectures, master classes and film screenings. Large ensembles use this room for rehearsal.

Performing Arts Resource Center

PARC – Performing Arts Resource Center houses music scores and media, a conference room and computer workrooms for composition. More information about the PARC.

Other Performance and Rehearsal Spaces

Kaul Auditorium, a beautiful performance hall that holds 750 and where the orchestra rehearses and performs.

The Chapel, in historic Eliot Hall, is used for Friday at Four concerts featuring staff, students and guest performers.
