Community Outreach
Multicultural affairs at Reed develops relationships with community-based organizations committed to addressing the educational needs of underrepresented and underserved students in Portland-area schools. In order to develop these relationships, we have created a community advisory board comprised of community-based organizations that work with multicultural affairs. The board seeks to develop opportunities to engage parents and students in the greater Portland area around the issues of educational access and opportunity. At present, contributing organizations to this board include:
Self-Enhancement, Inc. (SEI)
Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO)
South East Uplift (SEUL)
