We recommend them in place of USPS Certified, insured or Registered mail. Fedex is less expensive and provides faster more reliable service.
Fedex has excellent ground and home delivery service. Ground is for commercial addresses. Home delivery is for residential addresses.
Within Oregon, Fedex ground is a next-day service. We have seen parcels arrive even to California and Washington state the next day. The East Coast takes 5-7 days. Cost depends on destination and weight. All packages are insured for $100 automatically. Additional insurance is affordable. We recommend fedex ground instead of USPS certified for its tracking and proof of delivery within Oregon.
When purchasing equipment and supplies for your department, you can save on shipping costs
by providing the Reed Fedex or UPS shipping account number to merchants. Some merchants will not ship on the customers account, but please ask.
Reed Fedex rates are usually less than half that of the standard rate for both express and ground shipping.
