The fall 2008 entering class comes to Reed from 39 states, the District of Columbia, and from 14 countries. Fifty-nine percent enrolled from public secondary schools, twenty-seven percent from private, ten percent from religious schools, three percent from charter/home schools or other, and one percent were unknown.
