Hebrew University of Jerusalem
Students may choose to spend a year or semester studying in Jerusalem through the Hebrew University. Courses may be taken either directly through the University, where all lessons will be taught in Hebrew, or through the Rothberg School for Overseas Students, where courses on Hebrew language and Middle-Eastern Studies are taught in English. The latter program focuses more heavily on guided cultural immersion. In both programs, students may choose to live in university housing complexes with local students or independently, off-campus. Counseling and academic support networks are offered to all students, as well as a variety of social and cultural events throughout each semester. Athletic and social clubs and facilities can allow international students access to local student communities, and are highly recommended for breaching cultural barriers. There is no language requirement for the Rothberg program, but proficiency in Hebrew must be displayed in order to test into the direct study at the Hebrew University. Students must also maintain at least a 3.0 GPA to qualify for this program.
At this point in time, there are no student reviews for this program. If you have experience with this program, please feel free to submit your opinion to the International Programs Offices at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
