The Office for Inclusive Community at Reed develops relationships with community-based organizations and Portland-area schools that are committed to addressing the educational needs of underrepresented and underserved youth in Oregon. Students from the Peer Mentor Program and Multicultural Resource Center regularly partner with local social justice leaders and community organizations to collaborate on projects or campaigns, for shared workshops and trainings, and to host K-12 students for campus visits at Reed.
The Office for Inclusive Community also hosts an AmeriCorps VISTA service member through a partnernship with Oregon Campus Compact. Oregon Campus Compact (ORCC) is a statewide organization that partners with higher education institutions to advance service, learning, and leadership in the community.
