Prevention Specialist, Psychology

Prevention Specialist Position available at the Adolescent Health Research Program at Reed College in Portland, Oregon.  This position is half time with benefits (0.51 FTE; ~23 hrs/wk) for a 10-month period (approx. September – June).  Primary responsibilities include implementing a grant-funded alcohol prevention program in local high schools and supporting research-related activities.  Applicants should have a strong academic and/or professional background in school-based interventions, alcohol and drug prevention, and/or adolescent development.  Post-baccalaureate training (e.g., master’s degree, specialized certifications) in psychology, social work, counseling, or addictions is required.  Criminal background checks will be required of all final candidates for the position.  Applicants should have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
