H. Disability insurance

1. Long-term disability insurance
First of the month following one year of continuous active employment in an eligible class, regular full-time employees and regular part-time employees who work .5 FTE or more annually.
The college pays the full premium for the plan.
This plan provides a monthly income equal to 60% of basic monthly earnings, not to exceed the maximum monthly benefit of $7,500, less other income benefits beginning after 180 days of disability. The employee must be unable to perform the basic functions of his/her own occupation for 36 months of disability and any occupation after 36 months of disability.
