Inclusive Practice Workshops

In Spring 2015, the Office for Institutional Diversity launched a series of inclusive practice workshops designed to provide staff members with information, tools, and practical tactics for working most effectively with students from a broad range of backgrounds and identity groups.

This fall, we will continue to offer four lunch workshops that focus on the ways in which students from various backgrounds and identity groups can experience their learning, living, and working environment here at Reed. All staff members work directly and/or indirectly with students on campus, and many of you play an important role in shaping students' experiences.

The workshops, focused on a particular background and identity group, will provide practical tactics that you can deploy immediately to help these students do their best work and thrive at Reed.
