Online Relaxation Audio
The Health and Counseling Center is pleased to offer students access to the University of San Diego's Counseling and Psychological Services' downloadable audio, iRelax.
You may download these recordings to your computer, iPod, or other mp3 player. Once downloaded, find a comfortable, calm environment and use the recordings to guide you through a relaxation exercise. The key with these recordings is to use them frequently. Reed can be a stressful place and learning to relax is a skill that you can develop to reduce your anxiety and help you concentrate and work more effectively.
At first, calming your mind might be challenging, but don't give up. With repeated practice you will find that it becomes easier to calm your mind, your breath, and your body.
