Complementary Care

Reed offers group acupuncture as a complementary treatment for students. Acupuncture is the procedure of inserting and manipulating needles in various points on the body to relieve pain or for therapeutic purposes. Some of the concerns leading students to seek—and benefit from—acupuncture include: stress, anxiety, difficulty sleeping, back or neck pain, smoking cessation, substance cravings, headaches, and more. Curious? Contact the Health and Counseling Center at 503/777-7281 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
