For the third year in a row, current Reed students are joining forces to create a scholarship for an incoming first-year student next fall. This year, alumni Willie Koo ’83 and Elsa Tanguay-Koo ’00 want to help out. They will give $5,000 to the scholarship if we meet out goals. Will you help us secure the match and bring a future Reedie to Reed?
Make your scholarship gift today.
How does it work?
Gifts of $10 or more will be matched 1:1 up to $2,500. If 300 current students give any amount, an additional $2,500 will be given to the scholarship.
As students, we feel inspired when our peers care enough about our school to help make a Reed education possible for an incoming freshman. We recognize these are difficult times for everyone, especially students. However, even a small donation can go a long way in helping us meet our participation goal. We want this to be a collaborative effort led by current Reedies, for a future Reedie. We would really appreciate your thoughts or feedback on the scholarship. Please feel free to contact any of us about the initiative.
Sincerely,
