The Centennial Challenge: Griffin Step-Up Match

If there were ever a great reason to join the Griffin Society of donors with an increased gift to the Annual Fund, here it is:

If 100 alumni, parents, and friends make a gift of $1,000 or more for the first time, Linda Hammill Matthews '67 will give Reed $100,000 for the Annual Fund.

In celebration of Reed’s approaching centennial, Linda generously agreed to extend this challenge to inspire donors to stretch their giving.


Update: As of June 8, 2009, 95 people have stepped up to the challenge with first-time gifts at the Griffin level or beyond. Reed needs 5 more donors to become leadership donors before June 30 to capitalize on this extraordinary opportunity. Click here to make your challenge gift.

The challenge applies to new donors making first-time gifts of $1,000 or more, and to renewing donors making gifts of $1,000 or more for the very first time. Reed needs 100 new gifts at this level to receive the full $100,000.
