By thesis candidates Hannah Mackenzie-Margulies (Dance/Music), Larry Drui (Theatre), Kevin Snyder (Theatre), Brianna Walker (Theatre/Literature), and Liz Groombridge (Theatre/Psychology)
Five thesis candidates developing new works will present these world premieres in a festival format. Collectively, these five performances explore identity and the ways that performance is made. Hannah Mackenzie-Margulies explores the performance of Americanism in the context of Cold War cultural tours, Larry Drui explores voice acting through his original sound play, Kevin Snyder breaks the status quo through theatre, Brianna Walker deconstructs romance novel stereotypes through theatre installation, and Liz Groombridge explores the perception of non-binary identities
