Rosemary Candelario, assistant professor of dance at Texas Woman’s University, conducts this introductory workshop in the contemporary Japanese dance form, butoh. Candelario's research interests include the globalization of butoh, Asian and Asian American dance, artist archives, site-specific performance, arts activism, and representations of sex and reproduction in performance and popular culture.
