Reed Theatre: "They Who See the Unknown: Adaptations of Gilgamesh"
7:30 p.m., Performing Arts Building, Diver Studio Theatre
Join us for a shadow theatre production, created and performed by students of the class Puppetry and Performing Objects. This Reed theatre department course focuses on the history and practice of puppetry in non-Western contexts, and the incorporation of puppets and performing objects into avant-garde performance contexts. Students study the traditions of shadow puppetry and do designing, constructing, and performing in various different puppetry styles.
