  • [12/9] The final assignment for the country analysis project is now posted. It is due by noon on Thursday, December 18, the day of the final exam.
  • [12/9] Sample final exam questions are now available. There are a lot of them, but we've covered a lot of material. Use them as a review tool, along with the two problem sets from before the midterm and the daily 9:00 quizzes since.
  • [12/4] The readings for the final week of the semester, on the recent financial crisis and resulting "Great Recession," have now been added to the online reading list. Read the first two for Monday and the last two for Wednesday.
  • [11/25] The final segment of the country project, analyzing government finance, is now posted. Your report is due on Monday, December 8.
  • [11/15] The international analysis for the country project is now posted. Your report is due on Wednesday, November 26.
  • [11/4] The next segment of the country-analysis project, analyzing business-cycle fluctuations in your country, is now posted. Your report for this segment is due Monday, November 17.
  • [10/26] A coded grade file is now posted. For those who want to improve their grade on the midterm, a set of makeup problems is available. These must be done individually and are due in class on October 31.
  • [10/17] The next segment of the country project, on unemployment and inflation, is now posted. It is due on Friday, November 7.
  • [10/8] The second optional problem set is now posted. Use it to prepare for the October 17 midterm exam.
  • [9/30] The growth-analysis segment of the country project is now posted. Your reports and supporting spreadsheets are due on Wednesday, October 8.
