Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish

The Spanish Department at Reed College invites applications for the position of visiting assistant professor in Latin American and/or Peninsular film, with a primary competency in film theory and demonstrated ability to teach language.  This is a two-year position, to begin in the fall of 2015. Besides the courses in his or her field, the successful candidate will teach language courses at all levels and participate in advising senior theses. Above all, we seek candidates with a lively program of scholarship and an interest in teaching at the undergraduate level. Candidates must have native or near-native fluency in Spanish and the Ph.D. in hand or near completion.
