Tenure-Track Position in Latin American and/or Peninsular film

Reed College invites applications for a tenure-track position (assistant professor preferred) in Latin American and/or Peninsular film, within the Spanish department. Applicants need to have a primary competency in film theory and demonstrated ability to teach language. Besides teaching film courses in Latin American and/or Peninsular film, the successful candidate will teach film theory courses (in English), Spanish language courses at all levels, and advise senior theses. Above all, we seek candidates with a lively program of scholarship and a commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level. Candidates must have native or near-native fluency in Spanish and the Ph.D. in hand or near completion.
