Convocation 2014

The Reed College 2014 convocation ceremony took place on Wednesday, August 27, on the Great Lawn.

Jay Dickson, Professor of English & Humanities, delivered the annual convocation lecture, and Jim Fix, associate professor of computer science, presented the Howard Vollum Award for Distinguished Accomplishment in Science and Technology to Ivan Sutherland, visiting scientist at the Asynchronous Research Center, Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science, Portland State University.
