The mLab offers convenient online training through the website Lynda.com for all of our visitors! Lynda.com offers an extremely wide variety of online-based tutorials that may feature videos, hands-on exercises or quizzes. Students, faculty and staff can learn new skills and techniques for popular software applications such as the Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver etc), Final Cut, Microsoft Office, and much more. The Lynda.com skill level goes from basic to advanced.
To access the full Lynda.com collection of online tutorials, please use the lab computer closest to the printers. It is also marked with a Lynda.com sign above it on the wall. Simply open a browser and point it to Lynda.com.
Other computers will display the Lynda.com website too, but only the specific computer mentioned above will offer the full collection of tutorials and exercises. If you have any problem accessing Lynda.com, please contact us or ask a lab attendant.
