How to access the Courses, Griffin, Department, and User folders in AFS over the Web
Although there are a number of ways to access AFS, one of the easiest is over the web at https://files.reed.edu.

Accessing the Courses folder
- Go to https://files.reed.edu and login with your Reed Kerberos username and password (the same as used for email).
- Click on the Courses icon in the toolbar.
- You'll then see a listing of all the Course folders organized by department. Click on the appropriate department name to access the contents.
Accessing the Griffin folder
- Go to https://files.reed.edu and login with your Reed Kerberos username and password (the same as used for email).
- Click on the Reed Servers icon in the toolbar.
- Then click on the griffin link.
- You'll then see a listing of all the Griffin folders. Click on the appropriate folder name to access the contents.
Accessing the Departments folder
Folders for academic departments have been setup in AFS. There is also a Divisional Business folder where files for each division can be found.
- Go to https://files.reed.edu and login with your Reed Kerberos username and password (the same as used for email).
- Click on the Reed Servers icon in the toolbar.
- Then click on the departments link.
- You'll then see a listing of all the departmental folders. Click on the appropriate folder name to access the contents.
Accessing User folders
Users can setup folders withint their own Home folder and share them with other Reedies. To browse to another user's home folder, you must know their Kerberos username.
- Go to https://files.reed.edu and login with your Reed Kerberos username and password (the same as used for email).
- Click on the Reed Servers icon in the toolbar.
- Click on the user link.
- Then click on the first letter of their username, followed by the second letter of their username.
- Finally, click on the folder that corresponds to their username.
