Installing the MeetingMaker Calendar Client

This is a Beta copy of the Meeting Maker client for OS X running on the new Intel processor.
Most installations will be straightforward and will work if you hit each "OK" or "Next" button, or you can read on for step-by-step instructions

In the Meeting Maker Calendar window, click on the lock icon next to where it says Click the lock to make changes.
When the Authentication window appears, enter the password for your computer account and click OK.
The installer will prompt you choose the location to install Meeting Maker. Accept the default option "meetingmaker" in the folder "Applications" on the disk "Mac OS X Startup Disk" by clicking NEXT.

You may receive a warning that the install directory already exists. Ignore this warning and click OK.

You will be prompted to install Meeting Maker Conduits for Palm devices. Just click NEXT.

In the next dialog accept the default option to "Copy Meeting Maker Data" by clicking NEXT.

Next choose where you would like the installer to create shortcuts to the Meeting Maker application. Then click Install.

When the install completes click DONE to finish.
When you launch Meeting Maker you should see "ReedMM6" in the log in dialog box. If it is there go ahead and log in with your Meeting Maker name and password. If you don't see it proceed to the next step.

Click the Select button in the dialog box. Next enter meetingmaker.reed.edu in the host list.

Click OK. You should now see ReedMM6 in the Select Server dialog box. Highlight ReedMM6 by clicking on it. Then click Select.
You should now be able to log in to your Meeting Maker account. If you are unable to log in, or are experiencing problems with the install please call ACS at x7600 and we will assist you.
