What I Do:

  • Front-line support for faculty and students on Macintosh, Windows, and Linux/UNIX operating systems and applications
  • Contribute to user training workshops and the development of online and printed user documentation
  • Administration and day to day maintenance of print spooler, CAP servers, and several Appleshare servers
  • Maintain the campus Key Server and distribution of campus-wide software
  • Maintain and troubleshoot academic printing systems in cooperation with NTS staff
  • Work closely with CUS Computer Shop technicians to provide support and troubleshooting of hardware and software problems
  • Work with students and other CIS staff to support dormitory networking access (Mac & Windows)
  • Perform regular backups of file servers and departmental desktop computers
  • Train and supervise the CUS Assistant and other student employees
