The conference & events planning (CEP) office reserves and schedules all meetings (including extra class sessions), workshops, seminars, and special events held on the Reed College campus. CEP books all events in all rooms and multipurpose spaces except for the following:
Regular academic classes: registrar, ext. 7292 NOTE: Though CEP does not directly schedule these spaces, please let us know if you are having an event in any of these rooms as all equipment requests and/or special community safety instructions are coordinated through our office. Also, let us know if you would like your event included on the online events calendar. When working with CEP, be prepared to tell us which space you would like, on what day(s), what the precise start and end times are for your activity, any additional setup or breakdown time you may need, the name of your event, and whether or not you want your event to appear on the online calendar. We will do our best to schedule you in your preferred space. In the case of weekly or recurring events, please let us know whether or not your group plans to meet over breaks, reading week, and finals week.
It is very important that we have as much information as possible about your activity and its setup requirements so we can coordinate the necessary support services: building services, community safety, audio visual, and food service. If applicable, after making your room reservation you must also talk to AV services and food service directly :

Other requirements and policies may apply for activities and events taking place in Kaul Auditorium and are addressed on an individual basis. Please check with the Kaul coordinator at ext. 6656.
If you are a student reserving space on campus for any non-academic activity or event, after you have checked room and time availability with CEP you must register your event with the student activities office in GCC 104. (Academic-related events or activities organized by students and meetings for student organizations can be scheduled directly though the CEP office.)
