Online Strong Interest and Skills Confidence Inventory Directions AND the Myers-Briggs Personality Test
Reed College career services offers students the opportunity to take career assessment instruments online! Follow the completion of the instruments with an appointment with a career counselor where you get your results.
Special instructions for the Strong Interest Survey: At completion of the Strong Interest Survey, go back to instruments and complete the Skills Confidence Survey. When you are finished, please stop by Career Services in Greywood to schedule an appointment with a career counselor (or call 503/777-7550 or email career.services@reed.edu).
To take the assessment:
1) Each assessment takes approximately 1/2 hour, so be sure to allow enough time. Also, it's best to take the assessment when you are comfortable and alert. (Taking it an hour before a big test, or after an all-nighter, or when you're in a bad mood may skew your results and make them less than helpful).
2) Go online to http://online.cpp.com
3) Type in the following information and click on the purple log in button. Account Login: ReedCollege Account Password: Student1 User ID: You do not need a user ID unless you are returning to finish an incomplete inventory. IMPORTANT NOTE: After you complete the survey, you will receive an e-mail message that contains your USER ID.
4) Follow the directions on the screen: complete Skills Confidence Survey! (If you do not complete this piece, your Career Services counselor will not be able to get access to the Survey results to review with you.)
5) To get back into your records, return to http://online.cpp.com -- Enter Account Login: ReedCollege Account Password: Student1 and then enter the User ID you were provided in the e-mail in step 3.
