Description
I am the executive director of a K2-12 education nonprofit. We serve ~6000 students each year through classes and camps, afterschool programs and a high school internship. Thus, we have an operations team that deals with the logistics of classes and supplies throughout the Portland metro area, and hundreds of instructors who are community professionals who volunteer their time. I have a creative staff who think of cool classes and fund raisers who help us to be able to serve low income students. The Reed students would get an idea of how a nonprofit runs, what each of the main staff do and we'd like them to observe an afterschool class if one is ongoing while they are here. We may also have them design an workshop or piece of curriculum for a class.

Special skills
A major in science, technology, engineering or math would be the most helpful but necessary.
