The Oregon University System is pleased to announce The Oregon Social Business Challenge to be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Oregon Convention Center.

This exciting event will feature a keynote address from 2006 Nobel Peace Prize winner and founder of the microcredit concept, Professor Muhammad Yunus, followed by a statewide competition among university student teams from across Oregon that have been challenged to develop business solutions to pressing local and state issues.
Register before September 14.
Learn more about the event, including how to enter the special competition to develop a business plan, here. If you plan to put together a team for the business plan competition, please contact Ron Albertson (albertsr@reed.edu). (Note: You can attend the event on October 1 without participating in the competition, but registration is required, $15 student rate).
