Is medical school potentially in your future? Reed Alumnus, John Graef '60, M.D., is the associate clinical professor of pediatrics for Harvard Medical School. For 17 years, Dr. Graef served on the admissions committee at Harvard. He will address preparation for medical school and what admission committees are looking for in competitive candidates.
On Thursday, March 10, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Dr. Graef hosts an info session in Eliot 103.
On Friday, March 11, from 9:30 a.m. to mid-afternoon, Dr. Graef will conduct mock interviews in Greywood. This interview not only gives you essential practice; Dr. Graef will provide vital input on how to improve your chances of gaining acceptance to medical school. Interview slots are first come, first served. To get an interview with Dr. Graef, you must complete two steps:
- Stop by career services (in person) to sign up for a slot.
- Download and complete this questionnaire and e-mail it to Brooke at career.services@reed.edu no later than noon on Wednesday, March 9, 2011.
The interviews take place in Greywood and last approximately 40 minutes.
