Meet Chris Wearn, Camp Augusta's assistant director will be on campus to recruit summer camp staff. If spending time in the Sierra Nevada mountains with young campers this summer is of interest, stop by and meet Chris.

Camp Augusta is currently seeking counselors and senior staff for the 2011 summer.  We are a small (90 campers), successful, nonprofit camp.  We are located on 80 acres of Sierra Nevada foothills outside Nevada City in Northern California.  We host the longest staff training in the country (3.5 weeks), & prepare our staff to provide truly life changing experiences to campers and themselves.  We put an enormous emphasis on healthy community. We operate on a structure of flat hierarchy, consensus, and intention with every action.  Our food is made from scratch, with as many local, organic, and sustainable ingredients as possible.   Camp Augusta offers over 130 different activities including horseback riding, climbing, and canoeing.
