Non-Profit Internship Expo
Non-Profit Internship Expo (sponsored by SEEDS and Career Services)
Thursday, March 5, 2009
Commons Cafe, 2:30-4:30 PM
Are you interested in non-profits, community service, and internship opportunities?
Representatives from over 20 organizations will be on campus. Come network with these non-profit professionals in to:
- Find summer internships.
- Find volunteers opportunities for the summer and next semester.
- Find off-campus federal work-study internships for this or next semester.
- Learn about the important work that they are doing in the community.
Many of these internships will be unpaid, but they are a great way to get real world experience. It is a worthwhile investment to pick up a part-time job to allow you to work part-time on an internship with one of these organizations. This is a great opportunity to learn about what is going on in the community, network with some folks on the front lines of the non-profit sector, and set up a meaningful experience for the summer.
