Writing personal statements for fellowships, awards, and graduate school.

Fellowship and award deadlines arrive early in the fall. Attend this workshop conducted by Ken Brashier, professor of religion and humanities, to get a jump start on your statement of purpose (or personal statement). The workshop will help if you plan to compete for fellowships (e.g., Watson, Rhodes, Marshall, Truman, Goldwater, Fulbright) or need to start work on your graduate school and competitive internship applications. Start early and polish your drafts over the summer!
