Welcome to Reed Externships, a program offered primarily to Reed sophomores. The Reed Externship program offers one to four day opportunities for students to explore and to gain understanding of a business, non-profit organization, industry and job functions within those milieu. Reed Externships also provide the platform for students, alumni, parents, and other Reed partners and organizations to build and strengthen connections.

 APPLICATION STEPS

• Visit the Reed Externships page on the career services web site.
• Make your choice of externships by the deadline then complete the online application form.
• Email a .pdf version of your resume to externships.student@reed.edu
• After your resume and application are received, career services may suggest revisions in your application materials.
• Make suggested revisions after career services reviews your materials and resubmit by November 16.
• Placement notification takes place through email by day's end on Friday, November 23.

 All accepted Reed Externs must attend one of the two Reed Externship sessions. Those meetings are:

Tuesday, November 27, 12 to 1 p.m., GCC-CD
Monday, December 3, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., GRAY GCC-D
