Opportunity Grant Spring Deadline

The purpose of this program is to provide support to undergraduate students for pursuit of unusual, and unusually pertinent, opportunities that arise.

Proposal Process

The application process consists of filling out an application cover and budget form (download) and preparing a brief description (not to exceed one page) of the proposed activity. These should be submitted electronically to Susan Buttrick (buttrick@reed.edu). You also must arrange to have a faculty member submit a note of support for your proposed activity.

Proposals will be accepted at all times on a funds-available, rolling basis. There are two deadlines for assured consideration:

Fall deadline: October 13, 2011
Spring deadline: March 8, 2012

Only proposals from students currently enrolled and in good standing at the College can be considered.
