Family reception and career networking event. Come enjoy light refreshments and mingle, parents, and students! Parents, meet students who are interested in learning about your profession and want to know how you got where you are today. Students, meet parents (in addition to your own) who are interested in helping you network and learn more about professions that interest you.

When you RSVP for this event, please provide a brief profile that lets students know what you have to offer. A sample profile is below.

I work as an investment banker in the public finance department* at Barclays Capital in San Francisco, I lead the firm's western region transportation finance practice. I dedicate most of my time to crafting municipal bond financings for the capital programs of large mass transit agencies, state transportation departments, regional transportation authorities, airports, toll roads and bridges, and am currently recruiting an investment banking analyst who would join our group upon graduation next summer. I'd be interested in talking with students who'd like to find out more about the job and what we do.
