Bikes to Rwanda

If you're interested in non-profits, fare trade, bikes, or coffee, this event is for you! 

Clara Seasholtz, the executive director of Bikes to Rwanda, will give a presentation on the first night of Reed Arts Week (RAW).  Working in tandem with Stumptown Coffee, Bikes to Rwanda is a local non-profit organization that helps to provide bicycles to coffee farmers in Rwanda.  You can learn more their work here: www.bikestorwanda.com.

Clara led an O-week trip for freshman this past fall that involved raising awareness for Bikes to Rwanda in the Portland community.  An art major turned non-profit director, Clara is as enthusiastic about her own project as she is about promoting the idea of working for something you love.  If you have any questions for Clara, you can contact her at: clara@bikestorwanda.com
