The Center for Coastal Margin Observation and Prediction (CMOP) is a National Science Foundation Science and Technology Center that studies physical, chemical, and biological processes regulating river-to-ocean ecosystems (coastal margins), including watersheds, estuaries, and the ocean continental shelf. CMOP research encompasses multiple disciplines, includes investigators from institutions across the United States, and produces data relevant to many audiences and industries. CMOP continues to build relationships with faculty and students at institutions outside OHSU. CMOP is a unit of the OHSU School of Science and Engineering.
We invite you to our Open House to learn more about CMOP Masters and Ph.D. programs, paid summer internships, and collaborative research opportunities. You can learn more about CMOP and the OHSU School of Science and Engineering by visiting
