How do I access my student account online?

There are two ways to access information regarding your student account online:

  1. Student Account Center (students and families)
  2. Banner Self–Service (students only)

Student Account Center (students and families)

 Through Student Account Center you can

  • view your account details or a summary by term;
  • save different payment methods for later use;
  • invite a family member or other individuals who may help pay your educational expenses;
  • enroll in a monthly payment plan;
  • contact customer support at 888-316-9620 Monday through Friday 5am–7pm PST (outside US and Canada call 401-921-3999). Email here.

Accessing Student Account Center (students and families)

Access to Student Account Center is by invitation only. Continuing students received an invitation through their Reed email address on June 9, 2017. Incoming students will be sent an invitation in July, 2017. The invitation will include registration instructions and a unique registration code that expires in 30 days.

After registering, you may share access with additional family members or others by selecting Manage Account Access. Each person you invite to become an account participant will receive an email notification inviting them to register. Please note invitations expire within 30 days of the email date. Due to federal student privacy regulations (FERPA), the student must register first.

If the original invitation expires, students may request another invitation by contacting TMS at 1-888-316-9620 (outside US and Canada call 401-921-3999) or by email.

If the parent or guardian’s invitation expires, the student will need to initiate the request for another invitation.

Banner Self-Service (students only)

To access Banner Self-Service, log in with your Reed ID and self-service PIN. If you forget your PIN, enter your student ID in the User ID field, then click the “Forgot Pin?” button. If you don't know the answers to your security questions, click “Need Help Logging In? Click Here” on the log-in page and follow the instructions.

Through Banner Self–Service, you can check your current student account balance and make payments online, view and manage financial aid, and view Reed College employment information and manage timesheets.

Navigating Banner Self-Service (students only)

We recommend starting with the Student Account tab at the top of the page. From this main menu, you will have two options:

Account Detail for Term
Account Detail for Term reflects the transactions for the term you select. Account Balance is the amount you owe before any credit for pending financial aid. If you receive financial aid, scroll down to view the Account Balance net of Authorized Financial Aid and Memos.

Tax Notification
Tax Notification will show the 1098-T tax form for years 2013 and forward.
