I would love to connect with students. In addition or instead of attending the Schmooze, I am available for one:one meetings during the weekend. Drop me an email and we'll arrange a time to meet. I arrive on Friday.
How did you get where you are? (e.g., education, brief work history, mentors)
I learned to type to get my first job. After three years, I went to graduate school in city planning. I firmly believe that recommendation from 1st boss got me in. With my husband moved to Salt Lake City. Worked for a real estate consulting company for 10 years eventually being VP for consulting. Took a break and wrote a family column for the local paper. Worked for Salt Lake City for 10 years as director of redevelopment. Took a break and wrote a history of a performing arts building in the city. Worked as a consultant to the local transit agency for six years. Retired. Do volunteer work and have been studying Spanish.
What lessons have you learned along the way that you'd like to pass on to current Reed students?

In what ways you think you can help Reed students?
Give advice on searching for a job.
What else should students know about you? (e.g., volunteer engagement, avocations, interests)
I am friendly and easy to get along with.
